Audi has selected cells from LG Chem;

The battery contains 36 aluminum-cased modules, each with 12 soft-pack cells, for a total of 432;

The 36 modules are in two layers, 31 in the lower layer and 5 in the upper layer;

Each module 4 and 3 strings, the final is 4 and 108 strings, the voltage is about 396V;

With full SOC, the voltage can reach up to 450V;

The battery pack's shell, with a wrap-around all-aluminum frame and internal honeycomb structure, fully puts safety first, even though the overall e-tron battery pack's energy density is not high;

The battery pack can realize 150kWh fast charging, or slow charging with a car charger (ordinary cells, cannot realize high rate charging);

Front motor, parallel shaft asynchronous motor, 135kW, torque 309Nm; rear motor, coaxial asynchronous motor, 165kW, torque 355Nm.

4 sets of thermal management circuits can be connected in series and parallel;

22L coolant + 40 meters cooling tubes;

Constant battery temperature at 25°C to 35°C;

Internal cooling of the front and rear motors to ensure that the temperature is not higher than 180℃.

Three energy recovery modes in one: first, manual coasting energy recovery; second, automatic coasting energy recovery through the Predictive Efficiency Assist System; third, energy recovery through vehicle braking with smooth transition between electric drive and hydraulic deceleration; the energy recovery rate is up to 70%, which is more than twice as high as the 30% energy recovery of traditional electric vehicles;

New electro-hydraulic braking: in the compact braking module, the additional pressure generated by the hydraulic piston combined with the additional braking force from the energy recovery torque allows the vehicle to build up maximum braking pressure in just 150 milliseconds, which reduces braking distances by 20% compared to conventional systems.

With a wind resistance of 0.27, the active air intake grille + bottom aerodynamic guards + air springs (reducing the minimum ground clearance from 172mm to 156mm), all three increase the range by 35km.
