EC7 is the second Coupe SUV launched by Weilai after the EC6, and it is also the first Coupe SUV based on the NT2 platform. The design of EC7 adopts NIO’s second-generation design language, weakening the local features of the front face and headlights, and treating the entire vehicle as a whole. NIO EC7 is equipped with the iconic "Double Dash" daytime running lights on the front part of the car, and below it is an intelligent multi-beam headlight with a split design.

The lidar continues to use a lookout table design. It follows the "Design for AD" design concept. The assisted driving chip has a computing power of 1016TOPS.

In terms of details, NIO EC7 adopts the design concept of "Design for AD" and has an exposed design for the observation deck lidar and high-definition camera. NIO EC7 is equipped with a total of 33 auxiliary driving hardware and four NVIDIA Orin to more scenes.

EC7 is positioned as a coupe SUV. It is equipped with an active electric lift tail for the first time. The wind drag coefficient of EC7 is only 0.23. The rear of the car is equipped with a hidden high-mounted brake light.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the NIO EC7 are 4968/1974/1714 mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2960 mm. Due to the use of a fastback style design and the first active electric lift tail, which can reduce aerodynamic drag by up to 4%, the EC7 has a vehicle drag coefficient of only 0.23. At the rear of the car, the EC7 is also equipped with a hidden high-mounted brake light with a length of 400 mm, and the through-type taillights have also been redesigned.

Even the levers in the car are designed in the same color scheme.

Coming inside the car, the interior design of EC7 also continues to implement NIO's concept of creating a "second living room". The overall design adopts an enveloping design and still uses environmentally friendly materials including renewable rattan wood. EC7 will also use metal decorative parts of the same color in the car, with color-hopping stitching to make the car look less boring. At the same time, EC7 has also added three new interior colors: cocoa brown, K2 gray and coral red.

Equipped with 23 speakers, supporting 7.1.4 immersive sound

The EC7 is still equipped with a 12.8-inch central control screen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument in the car, and is also equipped with the Banyan system. NOMI also uses a new generation of neural network technology and will support exclusive customized vocals and personalized caching to upgrade the experience of the voice control system. In addition, EC7 will also be equipped with 23 speakers, support 7.1.4 immersive sound, and have a total power of 1,000 watts.

EC7 is equipped with two integrated sports seats in the front row, which are derived from NIO’s self-developed seat platform. At the same time, the front seats have high-angle side wings and a multi-layer support structure, which can provide better lateral support and a sense of wrapping. NIO's iconic "Queen's Co-pilot" has also been upgraded. In addition to being able to achieve a zero-gravity sitting position with one click, the leg rests have also been upgraded and equipped with leg rest heating functions.

In terms of power, the EC7 is also equipped with a front and rear dual-motor four-wheel drive system, with a combined output power of 480 kilowatts, a combined torque of 850 N·m, and an acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. In addition, the EC7 is equipped with Brembo four-piston calipers as standard, and Brembo six-piston calipers are optional (standard on the first edition). In terms of chassis, EC7 is equipped with front double-wishbone independent air suspension + rear H-Arm multi-link independent air suspension, and CDC dynamic damping control system.
