  Polestar 2 is a 5-door, 5-seater hatchback. Its chassis is higher than that of ordinary cars, so Polestar 2 is considered a crossover car. As a pure electric model, Polestar 2 still uses a hexagonal grille design, which is composed of multiple black lines. Because pure electric models do not require air intake, the center grid of Polestar 2 is completely enclosed. There are multiple black plastic decorative strips between the two fog lights, and the white car paint and black decoration make the front face of Polestar 2 more attractive. The lamp set of Thor's Hammer has a novel shape and is very recognizable. For a crossover car, the side of the body is the most eye-catching. Polestar 2 adopts a fastback design, so the lines on the roof are relatively smooth, and the A-pillar adopts a suspended design. Polestar 2 has a longer front cabin and a shorter trunk, visually creating a sporty atmosphere. The tire specification is 245/45 R19, and the lower flatness ratio can illustrate the sporty attributes of Polestar 2. The 19-inch wheels are a good size but relatively ordinary in style. The rearview mirror adopts a frameless design. In my memory, this should be the first car model to adopt a frameless rearview mirror. The design of the rear of the car is relatively simple, without too much decoration and layering. The C-shaped taillights and through-type taillights are connected together, which improves the recognition of the rear of the Polestar 2.

  The appearance of Polestar 2 can be described as minimalist. It can be seen from the exterior design of the entire vehicle that the appearance of Polestar 2 does not have too many lines or layers. Simplicity is the best summary of the appearance of Polestar 2. The appearance of Polestar 2 is also full of futurism. In this era of pursuing individuality, cross-border styling design may be the trend of the future.

  Compared with the unique appearance, the interior of Polestar 2 seems a bit satisfactory. The light gray interior looks warm and contrasts with the sporty exterior. The 12.3-inch LCD instrument and the 11.15-inch central control screen add to the sense of technology in the car. The display clarity of both screens is good. If the frame of the central control screen is made smaller, the visual effect will be better. Polestar 2 uses Weave tech's environmentally friendly seats, which reduce the plasticizer in the seats from 45% to 1%. The green and environmentally friendly cabin design is also one of the highlights of Polestar 2.

  The configuration of Polestar 2 is relatively complete, but there is still room for improvement. Standard configurations for all series include: front and rear parking radar, reversing image, cruise control, automatic parking, uphill assist, LCD instrument, central control screen, induction electric rear tailgate, electric adjustment of the main and passenger seats, Front seat heating, LED light source, headlight cleaning function, dual-zone air conditioning and other configurations.

  The configuration of Polestar 2 has indeed reached the standard level of its class, but the configuration level is not outstanding. I personally suggest that Polestar 2 should be equipped with knee airbags and other configurations as standard. Compared with the sedan, the Polestar 2's trunk is more regular. Since it is a hatchback, it also has certain advantages in the longitudinal volume of the trunk. The conventional trunk capacity of Polestar 2 is 440 liters, and the capacity can be expanded to 1130 liters with the rear seats folded down. There should be no problem in transporting some large items. Since it is a pure electric vehicle, there is no need to place an engine in the front cabin. Polestar 2 has dug out the saved space into a storage slot. Although the storage space is not large, it should be no problem to put a school bag. Polestar 2 has a length of 4606mm and a wheelbase of 2735mm, making it a compact car. The rear legroom is relatively sufficient, and the middle floor has a high bulge, which affects the riding comfort of the middle passenger. The second-row seat cushions have a lower angle, and their thigh support needs to be improved.

  There are three versions of Polestar 2. The one we are reviewing today is the single-motor long-range version priced at 287,800.

  The total power of the electric motor equipped on Polestar 2 is 170 kilowatts, the total torque of the electric motor is 330 N·m, and the official acceleration time from 100 kilometers to 100 kilometers is 7.4 seconds. Judging from the book data, the acceleration capability of Polestar 2 is roughly equivalent to that of a 2.0T gasoline engine, but the acceleration capability of Polestar 2 at starting and at medium and low speeds is better than that of a 2.0T gasoline engine. The steering wheel has three adjustable modes, namely light, standard and heavy. The steering wheel in standard mode has moderate strength and is easier to control. The switch has three levels of kinetic energy recovery. Compared with pure household electric vehicles, Polestar 2's kinetic energy recovery is set more conservatively. Even if the kinetic energy recovery modulation is set to the highest level, the vehicle cannot be stopped by lifting the switch. This It is related to its positioning as a high-performance sports model.

  In terms of chassis, Polestar 2 adopts a front MacPherson independent suspension and a rear multi-link independent suspension design. Since it is a high-performance model, the chassis tuning must be sporty. The overall tuning of the Polestar 2's chassis is relatively stiff, so the vehicle has a clearer road feel when driving. The suspension has strong anti-roll capability and the vehicle can corner at a faster speed.
