GAC Toyota's new car -- the 2024 Toyota Highlander Launched

Recently, GAC Toyota's new car, the 2024 Toyota Highlander, was launched. The new car offers 10 configuration models, priced at 249,800-325,800 yuan. As an annual facelift model, the appearance and interior of the new car have not changed significantly. The main adjustments are the number of models (deletion), upgraded functional configuration, and lowered prices.


In addition, the 2024 Toyota Highlander continues to provide 2.0T engine + 8AT gearbox (maximum power 182kW), 2.5L oil-electric hybrid + E-CVT gearbox (system comprehensive power 181kW).

Compared with the 2023 model, the 2024 Toyota Highlander canceled the "Dual Engine 2.5L two-wheel drive luxury version 7 seats" and "Dual Engine 2.5L four-wheel drive knight version 7 seats".


At the same time, the new car is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense assisted driving system, 12.3-inch LCD instrument, and adaptive high and low beam as standard; and the price of each configuration model of the new car has been reduced by 15,000-33,000 yuan.


In addition, the 2.0T 4WD luxury version 7-seater and 2.5L oil-electric hybrid (2WD elite version 5-seater/7-seater, 4WD elite version 7-seater, 4WD luxury version 7-seater) have upgraded the 10.25-inch central control screen; the 2.5L oil-electric hybrid (2WD premium version 7-seater, 4WD premium version 7-seater, 4WD supreme version 7-seater) and 2.0T (4WD premium version 7-seater, 4WD supreme version 7-seater) have upgraded the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip.


In terms of exterior design, the front face of the 2024 Toyota Highlander continues to use a large-size smoked black air intake grille, and also comes standard with an adaptive front LED headlight group. In addition, fog light sources are arranged on the left and right sides of the front surround, and a trapezoidal smoked black air intake + decorative parts are added to the front lip position to enhance the sporty atmosphere of the front face.


Coming to the side of the body, the side of the 2024 Toyota Highlander continues to use the backward upward body waistline, and the shape of the whole vehicle is stable, highlighting the excellent visual aura. In addition, the new car also provides 18-inch wheels (235/65 R18) and 20-inch wheels (235/55 R20).


The body size of the 2024 Toyota Highlander is: 4965*1930*1750mm, with a wheelbase of 2850mm, and is positioned as a medium-sized SUV.


At the rear of the car, the 2024 Toyota Highlander continues to use a triangular taillight group, and a spoiler + high-mounted brake light is added above the rear windshield. In addition, the bottom of the rear surround is also equipped with a single hidden exhaust + a large area of gray decorative parts.


In terms of interior design, the 2024 Toyota Highlander center console area is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel, a 12.3-inch LCD instrument, and a 12.3-inch floating center control screen (medium and low-end models use a 10.25-inch center control screen).


At the same time, the new car continues to use a mechanical shift mechanism, and the physical air-conditioning button is retained below the center console.


In terms of configuration, the 2024 Toyota Highlander is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense as standard (high-end models also add reversing side warning, lane change assistance, 360° panoramic imaging and other functions); at the same time, the Premium and Supreme models have also upgraded the Snapdragon 8155 car chip (adding GPS online navigation/4G network/voiceprint recognition/voice recognition control and other functions).


In terms of seats, the new car offers 5-seat and 7-seat models, of which the seats of the Elite model are made of fabric material, and the seats of the Deluxe/Premier/Supreme models are wrapped in leather + imitation leather.


In terms of seat performance, the Elite model only provides manually adjustable seats, while the Deluxe/Premier/Supreme models support electric adjustment of the front seats and heating of the front seats.


In addition, the Supreme model also provides front seat ventilation, main driver seat memory, and second row seat heating.


In terms of power units, the 2024 Toyota Highlander continues to offer a 2.0T engine + 8AT gearbox (maximum power 182kW, maximum torque 380N·m); 2.5L hybrid + E-CVT gearbox (system comprehensive power 181kW).
